SCALE WITH MAHI / TRUST

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy explains how ScaleWithMahi, operated by Mahendra Gandham, handles information when you learn, create an account, or contact us.

01Information we collect

Account information includes your email address, authentication provider, name, username, and profile details. We store learning activity such as completed problems, streak dates, reviews, and mock sessions. Feedback includes your message and account contact details. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, device information, and request logs to deliver and protect the service.

02How we use information

We use information to sign you in, save progress, display your profile, provide learning features, respond to requests, and prevent abuse. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these uses support providing the requested service and our legitimate interests in operating and securing it. Optional consent-based features require consent where required.

03Public profiles

Your name, username, bio, title, learning progress, XP, and activity may be visible through your shareable profile. Do not put private information in those fields. Your email address and private mock-session records are not intended for public display. Contact us to request removal of your public profile.

04Browser storage and third parties

Firebase Authentication uses browser storage to maintain your session. Course reading and practice progress may also be stored on your device. Clearing browser storage can remove that local progress. We do not currently initialize an optional analytics tracker in the application. Google or GitHub sign-in follows the selected provider's policies. Opening the code playground loads OneCompiler, which receives network/device information and any code or input you enter. External learning links are governed by their providers' policies.

05Service providers and sharing

We use Firebase/Google for accounts and data, hosting and network providers to serve the site, and Resend to deliver contact emails. These providers process information needed for those functions and may operate in other countries. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

06Retention and deletion

Account and learning records remain while needed to provide your account and learning history. Support messages remain while needed to resolve requests and maintain support records. Retention may be longer where security, legal obligations, or backups require it. There is no automatic account-expiry schedule. You can request deletion by emailing us from your account address; we may verify ownership before acting. Browser-local records can be removed using your browser's site-data settings.

07Your choices and rights

You can edit profile details in Settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of your information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law.

08Children and updates

The service is intended for users aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires parental permission at your age, obtain it before creating an account. Contact us if a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission. We may update this policy and will revise the date above; material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
